Comforts and Luxuries
Recently restored and interior designed, this unique “Barn House” is situated on the original road that leads into Franschhoek. Dutch Gables on the two wings give the house a stately façade. Nestled in a quiet residential area, “La Chouette” 45 Huguenot Road, is within easy walking distance of the many restaurants, wine farms and specialist shops that add to the charm of Franschhoek village.
Designed in “country French meets industrial chic” the predominantly sleek grey and wood décor is highlighted, in places, with multi-coloured tapestries & kilims. Collections of interesting coloured vases and vintage eye baths are dotted around the house. Owls are a subtle theme to be found throughout the house!
45 Huguenot Road “La Chouette” has three double bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms; accommodating a maximum of 6 people. A large kitchen and scullery. A sitting and dining area both inside and out, plus a guest toilet.
A limited stock of carefully selected wine is available on arrival for that first relaxing “at home” drink.
